Work in progress hair clips and stud earrings by JP with love Jewelry

I was always in love with accessories specially with jewelry in particular with earrings. I like to mach them with outfits, and I always loved strange, long and massive earrings. For me stud earrings were almost invisible. I kind of think that thay are appropriate for work or some really formal occasions. To be honest I never bought a pair in my life. 

I do not know what happened in the mean time. I came up with an idea to tray to make one pair. I really liked the result so I made another one, and another one ...  :) 

As I wrote few post ago for making my first stud earrings I used Japanese technique mokume gane which gave me unexpected results.  With this technique you can not make 2 exact the same pieces, every piece is absolutely unique and on of the kind.  So that is how it started... 

My new favorite earrings now unfinished yet.

I am soooooo exited and can not waith to finish this stud earrings. 

I love pastel colors so this will be real rainbow of spring colors. 

I will probably make sets of two or three pairs and try to make some beautiful combos. Still do not know if it is beather to make them in one color or to combine different colors and different shapes. What do you think? Any advice?

Stud earrings - polymer clay by JP with love Jewelry

Few post ago I mentioned that I tried to make little post earrings. It was absolutely new experience for me. I was trilled with the result so I made a few more.

Small drop shape (tie shape) I used Japanese technique Mokume gane. I simply adore this technique because is full of surprise and I never know what will be  the final result and it is always surprise. And I like surprises :)

What to say? Every time when I want to say something about pieces I make, I do not know from where to start :) 
This is something absolute new still need to be listed in my etsy store. I just can't wait and I need to share it right away. 
Let say that this sunny days gave me a bit of spring freshness and colored my last few day. 
I really like this three color combination it is so sparkling and glittering, feminine and modern.

As I just can not stay away from texture the back side of this pieces is snake skin textured.

The color is shiny metallic purple, emerald green and silver.

And for the first time in my life I make a ear stud earrings, the result is at mine opinion great for the "beginner" what do you think?   

I used copper wire to make all findings. Ear wire is handmade and hammered..
